The medieval village of Dolceacqua is one of the most amazing and ‘hive-like’ towns I’ve visited anywhere.
It feels like crawling around in a giant termite mound! Really wonderful.
Here are some quick phone snaps… stay tuned for the real pictures after I get home!

Very happy to be back in Piedmont!
Working with fantastic clients in a private photo workshop.
So far, we’ve visited Turin and the Monferrato and Langhe areas. Tomorrow Tende (France) and then Apricale … one of the special highlights of the trip.
I so love it here …

We’re wrapping up another wonderful photo workshop here in Italy. This morning we shot sunrise over Florence, from Fiesole.
Can’t wait to come back to Italy later this year!

We’re having a great time leading our photo tour in Tuscany! The past few days in Val D’Orcia have been spectacular. We’ve stayed at the lovely Agriturismo Cerretto near Pienza.
A couple of mornings ago we had a gorgeous sunrise in the crete sinese north of Pienza.
Lots more photos to come!

We’ve been exploring the ancient hill towns of central and southern Tuscany. Volterra is very special, as are Montepulciano and Montalcino. Our group visited Innocenti, a small family-owned winery producing really excelling wines in Montefollonico.
While exploring the area our central base has been Siena, where we’ve stayed a few nights. Siena is an absolute gem and a must-see on any visit to Tuscany.
