Boats rock peacefully in the Donsö marina, under a beautiful early summer sky. Donsö is an important fishing village in the Southern Gothenburg archipelago, off the coast of Gothenburg, Sweden. Donsö has 1,400 residents, many staying only for the summer. The archipelago is car free, with residents and visitors using ferries, cycles, mopeds and electric cars. The Donsö harbor is the center of the island, surrounded by modern facilities.

I made this photograph during our UK Photo Tour in June 2013. West Burton is a lovely, quintessential country village in the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales.
